Inventory & Warehouse Operations

Core warehouse flows for Wygwam in Odoo Inventory.

1. Receipts & quality

Purchase orders generate receipts. Incoming goods can be subject to a quality control step before being put away. Batch/pallet tracking is done with lots and packages.

2. Storage & locations

The warehouse uses a location structure with bulk locations on three levels. Putaway rules direct products to the right zone; removal strategies (FIFO) decide which stock is picked first.

3. Deliveries

Confirmed sales orders create delivery orders. Depending on the route, goods ship from own stock, via dropshipment straight from the supplier, or via a subcontractor.

4. Replenishment

Reordering rules (min/max) trigger purchase or manufacturing proposals. Intercompany replenishment between Wygwam entities follows the agreed LRD model.

5. Returns

Customer returns come in via the RMA flow and are inspected before restocking, repair or scrap.
